Josephine Corrao is a New York City based singer and musical theater performer. Raised in the suburbs of Chicago in an Italian American household, her journey with music began listening to jazz records at her Nonno’s house.

 

She earned her BFA in Musical Theater from Illinois Wesleyan University before moving to New York City to pursue performing full time. Inspired by iconic voices like Judy Garland, Sarah Vaughan, and Ella Fitzgerald, her work blends old style with heartfelt connection.

 

Whether on stage or in cabaret settings, Josephine is motivated by her love of people and the joy of sharing stories through music. When she’s not performing you can find her exploring the city for the best cannolis and making friends along the way.
